CRUISE 2011 INFO

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? Cruise performance is open to ALL DXP students. We will be performing dances from our 2010-2011 recital.
CRUISE INFO 5-Night Cruise From Miami June 27th-July 2nd, 2011 We will visit Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay Bahamas, & Nassau Bahamas. Exact itinerary will be e-mailed to you with registration form.
SHIP: Carnival Destiny You can check it out online by going to carnival.com. Click on "ships" at top right corner, then "fleet" from drop down menu, and then select "Destiny." There is a virtual tour that you can take.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Inside cabin rooms (rates are per person) Double (2 people in room): $765pp Triple (3 people in room): $665pp Quad (4 people in room): $620pp Quint (5 people in room): $595pp*Oceanview, Balcony, & Suites are available, prices for these will be on the registration form.
WHAT DOES THIS COVER? The rate, per person, covers cruise fare, taxes, rehearsal/performance on stage, pre-paid gratuities to staff, welcome orientation reception, dancers t-shirts, a master class with a cruise performer, and an awards ceremony.
WHEN ARE DEPOSITS DUE? $50 deposit pp (need to have when we submit registration form) $150 deposit pp due Thurs, October 14th $150 deposit pp due Tues, February 1st FINAL BALANCE due Thurs, April 7th**Deposits must be made by cash or check
FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES We have already had 3 fundraising opportunities for students and we will have 2 more before we go on the cruise.
CAN FAMILY & FRIENDS GET THE SAME RATE? Yes, family & friends can go on the cruise for the same rate. To be able to participate in our receptions and activities they will need to fill out a registration form. Everyone that goes on the cruise through the program will have seating assignments together.
CAN WE GET ADJOINING ROOMS? As soon as the full $200 deposit is received then the company can work on getting adjoining rooms, or rooms right next to a friend's or family's room. $200 secures your room location
